Back to Blogging
I logged into MLBlogs to see this message. "Your last entry was Sep 16 2007." And I'm finally back, almost a year to the day of my last blog. A lot has changed in that year too. For any of you who read my blog previously, you know that I lived for a few years in Spain. I have now moved back to the United States full time. That also led to the decrease in blogging. I'm back to the land that considers baseball their pastime, where I can rant and rave about any team and player I want and find someone who knows what I'm talking about in a 10 mile radius.
But, I'm back for 2 major reasons.
1) My fans. Ok, that's a lie. I have no fans. But I have had a few people email me over the course of this past year and ask where I am. So, that's kind of cool.
2) My Cardinals need me. For anybody who doesn't know, my first full season of blogging coincided with the Cardinals World Championship of 2006, which also gave me somewhat of a predictament. Party Like It's 1982 no longer really worked for a title, but I still liked the name. In the end, I decided to keep the name and make the distinction in the paragraph below it. In any case, my blogging obviously brings good luck to the Cards and at this point we need all we can get.
Are we out of it? Not by a long shot. You'll be hearing more about that soon. But for now, consider this my entry back into blogging.
Hope there are a few of you out there who still want to read and comment because it makes blogging that much more fun.
Bringing luck to the 'Birds,
