That is the sigh of relief. The sigh of our Redbirds leaving Sunday's game drenched in champagne, as they go on to the NLDS. Can't wait for it. Until then, I'll just enjoy this. And a big thank you to John Smoltz and your Atlanta crew. We owe you.

I am NEVER going to forgive Trevor Hoffman for getting Byrnes out and then giving up the homers to Chad Tracy and Conor Jackson in the 9th inning that took Eric Byrnes' chance to lead the D'Backs in RBI away. Tracy got the lead and Jackson tied Byrnes for second.
And on top of that, remember that Hoffman was the guy who blew the save in the All-Star Game so that the American League has home field advantage in the World Series yet again.
I really hope the Cardinals can make the San Diego Padres' stay in the playoffs SHORT AND MISERABLE!

No, it's not; I decided to close up shop last week. I just didn't have it in me any more; I'll still pop in now and then, and you'll see me(cardsrul) over at VEB and the other places in the off-season. Who knows, maybe I'll start back up in the spring. We'll see..
